Feature Chef Vanesa Humbert

Vanesa was born in lovely Rosario, Argentina. She studied the art and the science of the kitchen in her hometown where she earned the title of Professional Chef. Within her studies she has achieved brilliant fluency in the English language and great knowledge in the field of tourism. Her Latin spirit led to her thirst of knowledge of culture and gastronomy in travels throughout South America where she found Samana Chakra. Vanesa’s exquisite selections of dishes include finding authentic flavors and balancing nutrition with the delicious flavors and aromas that identify her cooking. In her everyday journey she delicately prepares the fruits of the earth and the ocean finding the balance of tradition and creativity to delight your senses, from appetizers to desserts, especially chocolate. You won’t forget her!
Vanesa started her professional carrier In Rosario where she worked at the finest gourmet restaurants, moving up to Máncora to become resident Chef here at Samana Chakra since June 2009. We are so blessed to have her.
